FAST Academy...the name says it all. My philosophy on shooting and shooting instruction is pretty simple. If you know how to execute the fundamentals correctly you will hit what you are aiming at. Knowing how to do that at a high rate of speed is what separates winning from losing. Whether your goal is to improve your scores in competition, improve your confidence carrying a handgun for personal protection, or improve your ability using a handgun in the line of duty, it all comes down to being able to hit your target fast and accurately. One without the other won't cut it under most circumstances.

FAST ONE

This course is designed for the newer shooter up to B class USPSA or Expert IDPA. Should have some experience; be able to safely draw a gun from a holster and demonstrate safe muzzle discipline.

This is the introduction to the FAST Academy style of high speed execution of the fundamentals and will begin the process of training you how to train. This class will cover equipment, grip, stance, draw, sight picture, trigger control, transitions, reloads, and positions. We will also touch on more advanced techniques such as shooting on the move, and stage breakdown.

This is a ONE DAY course. It will be a full day and I recommend 1000 rounds. Class Max of 4 students.

FAST TWO

FAST TWO is designed for the A class and above USPSA shooter and any student who has been through FAST ONE.

FAST TWO will begin with recap and expansion on the fundamentals. Grip, stance, draw with great emphasis on sight picture, trigger control and shot calling. Other topics include in/out of position, shooting on the move, stage breakdown, economy of motion, strong hand/weak hand, the mental game and more!!!

This is the core program; it is a TWO DAY course. I recommend 1500 rounds for the class. 4 students max.

You might not come out a GM level shooter but you will have the knowledge of what and how to practice to become one. I will follow up FAST TWO students with a critique via email of individual areas you need to improve on and ways to accomplish it. Once you go through FAST TWO I am your coach for life!

FAST TUNE UP

This course is designed for any previous student as a refresher. Great as a pre-season or pre-match tune up. Touches on all aspects of FAST One/Two. This is a ONE DAY course.

Any group class I run is generally small, 2-4 people (unless you request a larger group for your friends or your club). Or I can do private classes. I lease the Wyoming Antelope Club in Pinellas Park, FL Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete area or I can travel to your range. Fees quoted are for local classes, call or email for a quote at your facility.
