I was born in West Virginia in 1973. I began shooting something or other at an early age with my father....like most folks that grew up in 'those parts'. I joined the United States Army where I spent 6 years in special operations with the 2nd Ranger Battalion. I left the Army in 2000 and moved to Tampa, Florida where I currently work as a Real Estate Appraiser while competing and teaching in my spare time. Or do I compete and teach then work in my spare time? Sometimes I forget.

I began practical shooting in 1998 and fell in love with the sport. I shot as often as possible with my limited free time while serving in the Army. After leaving the Army and moving to Florida I had more time to dedicate to this very competitive sport and quickly rose to the Grand Master level. Placing well and winning major matches has only fueled the passion to improve.

Six time and current USPSA Florida State Champion, finished 3rd in the World at WS XV in Bali Indonesia, numerous state and section titles. I also have experience in IDPA and Steel competitions.

I have been teaching for a few years at various academies as well as my own. Currently running classes at the Wyoming Antelope Club in Pinellas Park, FL (Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete) Check the course page for more information.
